Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the Lamjung district, passing through picturesque hills and villages to reach the town of Besishar. From here, the trek follows sections of the famous Annapurna Circuit, winding through lush forests and terraced fields to reach Manang district.
The trail diverges at Koto, where you leave the main Annapurna Circuit and head into the secluded Naar and Phu valleys. Trek through Naarrow gorges, riverbanks, and high cliffs, entering a wide-open valley that leads to the hidden villages of Naar and Phu.
After exploring Phu, you’ll head to Naar Village, crossing the formidable Kang-La Pass-5320 Mtr leading into a Ngawal and ending our journey at Chame Naar Phu Valley remains one of Nepal’s least-explored destinations, ensuring fewer trekkers and an intimate connection with its untouched beauty. Phu, a fortified village perched on a hill, offers incredible views of glacial valleys, while Naar is a bustling settlement home to modern-day Nepali Tibetans, known as Bhotias. Trekking at high altitude requires hard physical effort – you will need exceptional cardio-vascular fitness and to be thoroughly prepared. When you sign up, we’ll ask you to share key performance data and look closely at your past experience. We’ll then work with you to develop an appropriate training program, which will guarantee you the best chance of success.
If there are shortfalls within abilities and experience, we can collectively discuss the opportunities and/or provide a training support plan, including recommending preliminary climbs in the years and months leading up to this expedition, to ensure that you achieve your objective.
In case the client decides to cancel their trip, at any time between booking and the time of the trip, some deduction will be made to the advance amount. This is due to the company’s obligation to pay a certain amount for personnel and resources while booking them.
